Yes, these pictures are all Ty. On Sunday the 4
th my little boy entered an new stage in life. One of those steps we as mothers know will come but it still shocks us a little at first. I know for some it is no big deal but for me it is big. My Ty is now in Primary. For Ty and I it is a bitter sweet adjustment. Ty claimed he would always be in nursery. When I dropped him off for sharing time the first day he followed me out. I took him back in and he held my legs and cried. He was a little scared. I told him to be my big boy and stay with his teacher. I walked out and he stayed. Today after
sacrament meeting we had a repeat of the same performance. However when I picked him up he said "Primary is Cool."At lunch he told us an exciting story about washing a ball. I have no idea what it was about but he said it was his lesson. It was about Jesus and the temple. ????He really enjoyed it . Then not 5 minutes after, he told me his Macaroni and Cheese made him shrink and now he can go back to nursery. He said he misses the toys and the songs they sing. I guess we will see what next week brings.
For me it is the same back and forth. My baby is growing up. He goes to sharing time, he prayers in class and he has even gone to a primary activity. Wow. I love all of our primary teachers and I am so glad that he has so many wonderful and loving adults in his life but, ----yet,--- one more thing mommy is not part of, two whole hours that I don't have any idea of what he is doing. ---I don't quite know how to put it into words. I am sure some of you mom out there know what I am saying. Each little tug on those apron stings hurts just a little bit. Yet feels good at the same time. Who knew being a Mom could be so hard yet so rewarding at the same time.
