What Josh Did While We Were Gone---

I hope you can see it in the pictures. Our big room(living room, office, preschool room in one) ,hall and entry way have been an old flat white. While we were in Georgia, Josh was very brave and busy. He moved everything out of the big room and painted. We choose nutty beige color for the big room , hall way and entryway. Then he painted the preschool room blue and yellow. He did a great job - the whole house seems new again. I love It.

Anniversary

On July 17th Josh and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. Yes, five years ago we braved the heat and were married for time and eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple.
It is funny sometimes it feels like we have been married longer. Other times it feels like we are still new to all this married stuff. Unfortunately I was sick that day, but Josh give me flowers and a sweet card. Then after having my favorite Chinese take out ( Panda Express). We put the boys to bed early and watched a movie. It was relaxing and fun .

In preparation for our anniversary I watched our wedding video. It was so fun to see how my loved ones have changed in just five years. How I have changed, we have changed. I wondered-- where did that starry eyed,(and significantly skinnier) girl go. I was in awe of how she looked at Josh with such love and wonder. She was full of excitement, joy and even energy. Somewhere under all the diapers, dishes, toys, sweatpants, bills and sleepless nights I know that girl is still here. I am resolved to let her out more often. Since all goals are better kept when shared with others, here I am sharing.

Ian Update

Our Little Guy

After the GHST(growth hormone stimulation test) the doctor determined that Ian is making a small amount of his own growth hormone (YEAH!) The doctor said we don't have to worry about shots(yeah!) ..as of now... (:( ). For now the doctor wants to see him for blood work (ouch) and weigh ins about ever three months.. and in the meantime Mom gets to keep track of all his calories and try to get him to eat more and more and more

-- We are another variation of a well known nursery rhyme ---

" Mommy and Daddy could eat no fat---Ian could eat no lean. Leaving Mom to make two meals each night. Letting Ty choose between."

Summer Vacation

As many know we went to Atlanta this summer to visit my Dad. We, meaning; Ty, Ian, Aiden(my nephew), Melissa (my Sister) and me. Josh stayed home to work(see additional post)It was quite the trip. We drove which meant 15 hour in a car to Tx and then the next day we spend another 15 hours to Ga. The boys were very good. While there we hung out, played with cousins, went out to eat and went to the Georgia Aquarium, which was fabulous. Of course there are lots of stories but I can not write them all-- beside "a picture says a thousand words" so here at least 17000,, Enjoy!
